Lunar Eclipse

The Full Moon rising between peaks of a suburban skyline, shadow becoming her.

With Jupiter occupying the highest point of the sky, the Moon rose in the east, shadow already creeping across her.

So fascinating to listen to the sounds around me; people bristling, dogs barking, cats slinking, birds flapping and bugs swarming. And then. Silence. The Eclipse now complete and everything has gone still. The luminous eye turned a shade of red.
